hi fellow patchers!
as some of you might have already noticed, the mailserver of the pd-related mailinglists has changed from *iem.at* to *lists.iem.at*
this has two implications:
- - emails *to* the pd-lists should use *@lists.iem.at* from now on. e.g. please use mailto:pd-list@lists.iem.at in the future.
- - emails *from* the pd-lists will use @lists.iem.at in their various headers, including the List-ID header. those of you who use mail-header to sort pd-related emails into various folders, will have to adjust their filters.
the following lists are affected: - - gem-dev@lists.iem.at - - pd-announce@lists.iem.at - - pd-cvs@lists.iem.at - - pd-dev@lists.iem.at - - pd-list@lists.iem.at - - pd-ot@lists.iem.at - - pdweb@lists.iem.at
the change has become necessary due to upstream decisions of the university's IT department, and is not to be questioned by yours sincerely.
we don't have a time-frame yet when the old @iem.at adresses will stop working, but we don't expect it to happen soon. otoh, it is rather certain that the change /will/ happen at some point in the future, so let's be prepared. before the old email-adresses will cease to exist, you will be warned again (most likely with an automated reply for each email directed at the old adress over a prolonged period).
in any case: please update your adressbooks to use the @lists.iem.at adresses from now on.

PS: until recently it was possible to use e.g. pd-list@iem.kug.ac.at; the entire @iem.kug.ac.at domain has been disabled a few weeks ago, and can no longer been used.
PPS: many years ago there used to pd-list@iem.mhsg.ac.at which has not been usable for longer than many can remember.
