Hello,
next tuesday, 19th January, will be the third meeting of Pure Data users
in Berlin.
For more information, look up
http://puredata.info/community/organization/pd-berlin/pd-berlin-users-group.
We also encourage you to take an active part, and put up suggestions for
topics you want to talk about / topics you want to be talked about.
Doors are open from 20h-20h15. After that they'll be probably closed, and
you will have to call someone at NK to get in. To get a telephone number
to call or confirm assistance you can write to info_at_minitronics.net.
We would apreciate if you would send us a small mail to
info_at_minitronics.net with your name, Pd experience and interests, so
that we know how many people might be coming. Or put your name in the
pd-berlin wiki page.
We would like to thank the support and willingness of NK in the
organization of these events.

after a few days of waiting (for you) and hard labour (for me), Gem
0.93.1, the 1st bugfix release for the 0.93 series, has been released today.
like always we have fixed numerous bugs and features, and most likely
introduced an equal number of wishlists and showstoppers.
noteable differences since 0.93.0:
functionality bugs:
- [pix_film] no longer crashes when sending an "auto" message to it,
while no film is loaded
- [pix_film]'s "auto" message actually does something
- [pix_frei0r] no longer crashes when dynamically instantiating plugins
documentation:
- [pix_frei0r]/[pix_freeframe] help patches now mention how to
dynamically load a plugin at runtime (or change the plugin)
- [separator] help patch now explains how to only work on special openGL
matrices

adventurous there is the source code.
binaries for OSX are still not available yet, but we hope to get them

Hello everyone,
the recording of the final improvisation night, 14th August, is already
online on Michael's space -
http://pdcon11.sinespine.org/final-impro-audio/.
I left it untreated, in flac format. The recording is a stereo mix of the
mixer's output. I think whoever played will recognise itself there.
Best regards,

Dear list,
(This is my first post to you, but I have long since been a follower.)
I would like to introduce a new abstraction package called
ElectroAcoustic Tools (EAT).
EAT is a new set of abstractions for composition and diffusion that
are currently under development in Pure Data Extended 0.42.5. EAT is
accessible for preliminary educative use, but it also embraces the
advanced functionality that Pd can provide for digital signal
processing effects and spatialisation.
You can download the package on Source Forge:
https://sourceforge.net/p/eatpuredata/
This is a small first release to test the framework and functionality
and I would be very grateful of any feedback that you feel able to
provide on any aspect of the project.
You can see my presentation on EAT at the Pd Convention in Weimar on 9
August at 1100.
I hope that you find them to be a useful contribution.
