VECTOR SYNTHESIS WORKSHOP HELSINKI
16 & 17 Jun 2018, 11:00 — 17:00
Location: Kuusi Palaa, Kolmas linja 7, 00530 Helsinki, Finland
During this two-day workshop, you will explore the direct relationship
between sound and image.
Using the Pure Data programming environment, you can directly control
the vertical and horizontal movements, as well as the brightness, of a
beam of light. You will then investigate Lissajous figures, 3D models,
Rutt-Etra video scan processing, and other audio-driven visual shapes
and forms which can be displayed and manipulated in real time on an XY
oscilloscope, or with oscilloscope emulating software directly on your
laptop.
The participation fee for this workshop is EUR 50.

mac/linux/windows ones).
Hi,
I'm pleased to announce the new *Camomile* release v1.0.5!
Camomile is a plugin with Pure Data embedded that allows to load and to
control patches inside digital audio workstations. The plugin is available for
Windows, Linux and MacOS in the VST2, VST3 and AudioUnit formats. Downloads,
documentation and further information are available on the website:
https://github.com/pierreguillot/camomile/wiki. The change log is available
on the download section and the distribution. Feedback are more than
welcome!
Cheers,
Pierre
PS: I will present the project on May 16th (next Wednesday) in Amiens in
France for the JIM2018 (http://www.algomus.fr/jim2018/) and on June 8 in
Berlin for the LAC2018 (https://lac.linuxaudio.org/2018/). If you will be
there too, I will be happy to meet you and discuss with you.
Hello friends,
I introduce you to [ARRAST_VJ], a tool for live video mixing and mapping
(with audio) developed with Pd Vanilla + GEM.
[ARRAST_VJ] was developed in the Linux operating system, in which all
features work. Mac OS computers running GEM also run the full version. For
Windows users, a "Light" version was created, without audio and with other
small differences.
Finally we have completed the translation of the manual and patch comments
into English. The patch was released in Brazil in 2017 with documentation
in Portuguese.
You can find downloads and complete information about the project on the
site, including video tutorials (in Portuguese) and other records.
This work was only possible thanks to the efforts of many people in this
community, I am very grateful to all, and I hope to continue contributing
for many years.
Doubts and comments are welcome here or on our channels on facebook,
instagram, youtube, gmail (links on the site).
I hope it's useful to you!
