Hello,
next tuesday, 19th January, will be the third meeting of Pure Data users
in Berlin.
For more information, look up
http://puredata.info/community/organization/pd-berlin/pd-berlin-users-group.
We also encourage you to take an active part, and put up suggestions for
topics you want to talk about / topics you want to be talked about.
Doors are open from 20h-20h15. After that they'll be probably closed, and
you will have to call someone at NK to get in. To get a telephone number
to call or confirm assistance you can write to info_at_minitronics.net.
We would apreciate if you would send us a small mail to
info_at_minitronics.net with your name, Pd experience and interests, so
that we know how many people might be coming. Or put your name in the
pd-berlin wiki page.
We would like to thank the support and willingness of NK in the
organization of these events.

Hi all,
recently I've been interviewed for a printed issue of Weave, a German
interaction design magazine.
The article is about the Xth Sense framework (
http://res.marcodonnarumma.com/); my idea of a biophysical music, its
development, etc...
Some issues about technology and interactivity were raised at some point.
There are some words about Pd and the upcoming convention too.
Here's the full interview (in English).

Thanks for reading, sharing and commenting, if you wish.
Best,

Hello,
Gangplank is a nomadic workshop involving independant/freelance European
artists and technicians from the dance/theatre/performing arts scene,
sharing a common interest for the shift happening in dramaturgy due to
the rise of digital tools, removal of hierarchy, free culture as well as
free beer...
We have developed tools, besides real-life tolls, to drive a Lanbox
layer via a UDP network socket as well as a set of MIDI-to-TCP commands
using Puredata. The code is licensed under the GNU/GPL license and can
be downloaded, obviously for free, from our Gitorious
<https://gitorious.org/gk-code> repository. https://gitorious.org/gk-code
Early versions required Pd-extended (especially mrpeach OSC network
objects) as well as the pdmtl v2 abstractions, next version will also
depend on Gridflow.
Please join us at les Laboratoires d'Aubervilliers to follow our demos,
chat and exchange with us.
This session as well as the next one at Pact Zollverein, Essen, Germany
, next July, are facilitated by Anne Goldenberg, Montréal, Canada. We
also plan sessions in the Balkans next year.
Date: Saturday June 25th, 02:00 -06:00 PM,
Location: 41, rue lécuyer 93300 Aubervilliers, Metro 4 chemins, ligne 7

We have a regular schedule now, alternating each month between
Thursday 6-9pm at General Assembly and Sunday 6-9pm at NYC Resistor.
This Thursday we'll be back at General Assembly hosted by Lee Azzarello.
http://puredata.info/community/NYCPatchingCircle
We spend enough time alone staring at our computers; we are proposing
to work together. So often issues that arise when working can be
solved with a quick two minute discussion that would take hours to
solve alone. We have Dorkbot to see people's work, we have Share where
anyone can play, we have workshops and universities to learn from.
This is a meeting where we all can come to work.
This is an informal gathering of patching and patchers (Pd, Max/MSP/
Jitter, and even vvvv, Eyesweb, Labview, etc.). Beginners and
Experienced welcome. Open to everyone, students, the public, etc. Work
on personal projects, professional projects, school projects, ask for
help, help others, or just patch quietly to yourself, in a room full of
other people patching patches and helping other people patch.
Thursday 6/16, 6-9pm
Free!

Hello,
The easiest way to run Pd patches on your Android devices just got a bit
easier:
* Basic numberbox support (tap a numberbox to edit the value).
* Comments are now rendered.
* Labels on Sliders, Toggles, and Numberboxes.
* Instructions for formatting your patch GUI for PdDroidParty.
Download the apk and demos here:

Have fun! :)
Cheers,
