HI all,
I've put Pd 0.35-0 (finally) on the usual,
http://crca.ucsd.edu/~msp/software.html
I'll try to maintain this release and develop 0.36 simultaneously.
I don't have it compiled for Irix yet (I think a few people are still using
that...)
cheers
Miller
Hi,
the number of objects in maxlib has now increased to 34. New ones in
v0.9 are:
listfunnel - converts a list into one list per element with prepended
index number
gestalt - outputs the gestalt of a melody as number that indicates the
amount of changes / continuities
temperature - could be called 'activity' because it just counts the
'input events' within a specified time
tilt - look for abrupt changes in a stream of floats
maxlib 0.9 now also compiles on Linux (thanks to Martin Pi!)
get it at http://www.akustische-kunst.org/puredata/maxlib/

Hello all, I've been at it again.
Follow the link below to find some new reference documents for PD. I have now completed all the MATH objects. To date I have revised all the help documents (usually found in the pd/doc/5.reference/ folder) for the following objects:
GLUE objects - [bang] [print] [route] and [pack] etc. etc.
TIME objects - [delay] [line] and [metro] etc. etc.
MATH objects (NEW!) - [random] [max] [mtof] and [+] etc. etc.
32 of PD's native object reference documents have now undergone some major revisions. I'm very interested in hearing some input from all of you and I'd be happy to work WITH somebody if anybody is interested or feels they can contribute to PD's existing documentation.
As well, if anybody finds a typo, mistake, or misinformation...please advise me and I'll make the necessary corrections.

Dave S
p.s.: If you're unaware of these documents or are new to this mailing list, you'll find more info about what it is that I'm doing and WHY I'm doing it at: http://www.davesabine.com/media/puredata.asp?action=pddp
Hi all,
yesterday the official Ogg Vorbis 1.0 has been released. I've recompiled
my Ogg Vorbis externals (streaming and file access) with the new libs.
They can be found at http://www.akustische-kunst.org/puredata/pdogg/.
Some small changes to the code were necessarry.
BTW, Winamp now supports Ogg Vorbis by default, so it seems to become
sort of an 'accepted' audio format.
happy streaming,
Olaf
_ __angriff_
is a simple, but effective analogue drumkit abstraction built out of a
cosine oscillator and a noise generator plus standard lowpass or
highpass filters.
It needs IEMLIB installed and is intended to be used with the
graph-on-parent feature of recent versions of PD.
An example patch showing the usage with 3 presets for bass-, hihat-
and snare-like sounds is included. (This patch uses "pulse" af maxlib,
but a replacement solution with "metro" is included.)
"Angriff" is the german word for "Attack". ;)
