Hallo,
inspired by Orm Finnendahl's crazy stuff with structs which he presented on the Linux Audio Conference here is a quick-hack multislider done using structs.
slidertest.pd is the slider, useslider.pd shows, that it is fully localized and can be use as an abstraction multiple times inside a single patch. Open useslider.pd, select number of sliders to create (10 max for space restrictions) bang "create".
A RRADicalized version with actual outlets probably will follow later.
Have fun.

Hi, Zitat von oliver oliver@klingt.org:
interesting stuff, however not fully working yet ;-)
It is doing so here... ;)
when i create a slider i get an error message for each slider
"error: ptrobj_next: no current pointer"
This is a "known bug" with the "until" and the counting, which I didn't have time to fix anymore, because I really had to leave. It should work anyways, though. There's another small bug in slidertest.pd: The "1002-showme" somewhere inside should be "$0-showme". When I get home again I'll fix up a newer version. But it even should work as it currently is, though maybe not with the two independent abstractions.

Okay, attached is the fixed version which shouldn't show the pointer error anymore, although still no reading of slider state...
The stupid counter error is gone as well and was replaced by some cleanup.

This is very cool, should be quite useful. It loads properly, but I can't drag the sliders easily. I guess the targets are quite small.

They are 3 px in their full size, which is the line-width, but it is made smaller by the graph on parent scaling. It surely is possible to create more complex sliders which behave more like the IEM sliders.

I now made the outline a bit larger, changed the data structure and now also included an output function, done by "tagging" the slider with an int-id and outputting them all as list of "id: height" pairs.
Now it's actually starting to get a tiny real bit useful.
