Does pd have a q-list type function?
I would like to have 4 channels with 3 different effects and i am having
trouble
getting past the send recieve concept
Any examples or hints would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like a problem with the Linux version...
pTargetSize is used in Particles/part_targetsize.cpp, which means that the
particle library wasn't compiled or linked in correctly.

Hi
I cannot get Gem to load. I get this message:
/usr/lib/pd/externs/Gem.pd_linux: /usr/lib/pd/externs/Gem.pd_linux:
undefined symbol: pTargetSize
/usr/lib/pd/externs/Gem: can't load library
Does anyone have an idea about what could be wrong?
There doesn't seem to go anything wrong during compilation (apart from a
slight problem with the (makefile of the ???)orb library which I solved by
replacing it with one from an older release).

Hi
A general purpose joystick to midi converter for windows exist at:
http://www.cs.uu.nl/pub/MIDI/PROGRAMS/MSWINDOWS/mdjstk10.zip
Made by the author of Hubi's midi loopback device. I have NO idea if will work in WinNT, but it does work with win3.1, 95 & 98. Some source code is included (in Pascal i think.. also here i have NO idea :-)). Perhaps Miller is able to use something in there.

Hi!
IŽm planning to do a sound installation using pd. I need the possebility
to access the position of two user-adjustable resistors. Because the
whole thing has to be run by none-pd-experts at a galery in the
remoteness of poland I`ve thougt about using the joystick port of my
WinNT machine instead of modified volume controls of a midi keyboard.
Has anybody an idea how two access the joystick port? Do I have to write
an external or has anybody done this before?
Thanks
Olaf
hello,
does anybody has experience with SUSE-Linux 6.1 and PD.
I have tried running Miller Puckette´s version as well as compiling
guenther´s version (.3). the problem in both cases is finding the
tk-related stuff
thanks
