pd for linux

I've been trying to download the pd version for linux (which is actually on the same server as this list... will anyone read it????) but the server seems to be down. For a long time ... fiddle and bonk for SGI and NT

Hi all, The "1.0" versions of the Fiddle pitch tracker and teh Bonk percussion detector are finally out: http://man104nfs.ucsd.edu/%7Empuckett/software.html MSP versions are in the works! cheers Miller PS what about Pd 0.24? still at least a month off I'm afraid

gem and markex for SGI

The SGI ports of GEM 0.77 and MarkEx 0.22 are up. http://www.danks.org/mark The particle object doesn't work in the SGI version of GEM. Sorry, it should be in the next version (it doesn't do too much right now, so don't worry). new MarkEx and GEM

There are new versions of MarkEx and GEM out. Only the WinNT version is out right now, hopefully the SGI version will follow soon. Both MarkEx and GEM under now under the Gnu Public License. You can get them from my new web site: http://www.danks.org/mark Gem 0.77 adds support for the SpaceOrb (a 6DoF ball) and various bug fixes. There are also new objects like ortho and accumrotate. It also supports Voodoo and Voodoo2 graphics cards! Read the FAQ to get all of the information. MarkEx 0.22 fixes a bunch of bugs (average is completely broken in 0.21) Please let me know if you find any bugs or problems. Is there anybody out there ?

Hi pd-list subscribers. If you receive this email, the list works - after a long downtime - again. I see that it was a bad thing for all testers and users of pd that this list stopped working and I want to apologize for it. I stopped working at the IEM and rearranged my life a bit, moving to Vienna, working (indirectly) for Bill G. , while developing Software for Philips Speech Processing. OK, enough personal stuff. Mark, if you would like to give it a try for your GEM announcement now... I hope whoever follows me, doing my work at the IEM, will keep the list more alive than I did in the last two or three months. Greetings Guenter
