Once you make a login, you will be able to edit the page. There's an icon for inserting a picture. When you upload the image, please make sure the max width is less than 600 pixels, and put it in the folder for /PureData/ and then the chapter name, i.e.
/PureData/ConfiguringPD /PureData/TroubleShooting
etc etc
thanks! d.

REGEDIT digging isn' t needed anymore on Windoze, since Pd-Extended 0.40.3.
There are dialog boxes in the path and startup options that are way too intuitive. The Path function will add all the new paths to the path list. If you click [New...], it will open the file browse window, you find your folder, select it, hit ok, and it's added. The Startup function is similar. Click new and type the name of your new lib to load, hit ok, and you're done.
...One of the major highlights of the new package, IMHO.

i was meaning : should we care about windows if the funding is for supporting FLOSS technologies? we are also in the case of getting grants for achieving good FLOSS tools, but nobody ever asked us to port anything to zindows, hopefully

i was meaning here i'm naive enough to believe you can just do what you want
hi derek,
i did a tutorial video on how to install pd-extended (ubuntu, mac, windows). i am in the process of making other tutorials for pdmtl (installation, state saving, sampler, gems).
each video is around 40mb (flv - flash video). i can do quicktime sorenson if needed. let me know if you want it. might be a good idea to put it on puredata.info too.
pat
