Crazy idea out of my head: would [switch~]ing the subpatch off and on again work for this, so you don't have to cut the whole audio?
btw, could you post a copy of what you use to move objects inside a subpatch with messages? I'm still looking for the right syntax for that
cheers, Guilherme

i'm interested too. i'd like to know if it's possible to delete an object by message. is there a documentation about this or a list of messages that pd can handle? sometimes pd is for me like a "wundertüte" as we say in german (something like a magic bag). you don't know what is inside, but it is surely surprising you.
I read:

there is a lot here: http://pd.iem.at/pdwiki/index.php?PdInternalMessages and on linux you can always use # ngrep -d lo # to see what's really going on.

Good try, but it does not work.
