Hello List,
I don't know if this is only my persona experience, but oggread~ always cuts off a portion of the file when looping (using the rightmost "bang when done" outlet for achieving the loop).
Is there any way to fully play back an ogg file with this object?
Thanks!
Filippo

That would make a good bug report, especially if you can make a patch that reproduces the problem everytime and include it in the bug report.
In general, your best bet is to convert files to 32-bit float WAV files. That's sometimes a pain. You might try using readanysf~ as a work around.

Thanks for your reply HC! I've made a tiny patch that shows the problem, comparing oggread to a standard wave playback. Where would it be best to post a bug report for oggread? I went to the web address specified in the help file but it's down.
In any case, I've attached a zip here as well if anyone wants to try it out/give input on this.
Best from Germany,
Filippo

In Pd, go to the Help menu and select "report bug".
