Hello, I am Vitor Monaco in Sao Paulo - Brazil, I am aware of the pd to a week, some scratching sounds and articulate some schemes. I wonder if someone can give me any tips on how to produce a 'Kick'. grateful, Vitor

That doc is a little bit outdated, but the principle stays the same. Only the t3-objects are not necessary anymore: You can savely replace them with vline~. How to do adsr-envelopes with vline~ is explained e.g. here: http://footils.org/cms/weblog/2009/mar/21/adsr-envelopes-pd/

Here I made a simple patch that shows what I think is the most common technique to develop synth kick drums.
The main elements are one oscilator and one envelope, the point is that the envelope controls the volume AND the pitch.. this is very typical.

Hi Vitor,
This one isn't easy to understand right away, but it sounds quite nice as a techno kick.
One of my goals is Pd programming efficiency, so it uses the fewest and least expensive objects.
