I finally figured out how to configure Visual Studio 2003 (I know very little on C and C++). Here is pwd sent to me by Ben Bogart for windows and PD 0.38.3. When banged it outputs the path of the canvas.

Hey Thomas,
Franz was taking care of the windows stuff, since I don't have a windows machine. In theory everything should work, just take all the externals out of the TOT package and dump them into a copy of your own PD/Gem installation.
Also the CVS tarball is the most up to date. the TOT version is fully functional but missing some goodies that have bugs in em. the tarball is at:
http://cvs.sat.qc.ca/pixelTANGO.tar.gz
This includes just the abstractions and such, no externals. Take a peek at the dev-notes for extra information. (including a list of required externals) all externals are in CVS except for pwd (last time I checked) So I've attached those files. I think you'll be able to compile it for windows.. actually I'm trying to get some web-space on the TOT website for development files, it would be great is we could get precompiled externals that PT required for all three OSs...

I am trying to get pixelTANGO to run in XP. I tried the version on TOT with pd 0.38 but it crashes. Do I need to downgrade to 0.37?
What version works for you.
(I prefer 0.37 but 0.38 is so much easier to show to others so I got used to it)
