Hello again,
So I decided to download PD and GEM from CVS, becasue the pd I downloaded didnt have some of the cool features I wanted (and I can't remember what pd I downloaded before), and GEM was not compiling (despite the config file fix) and I was too tired last night to deal with it. But I cannot connect to CVS on either package. Is this a sourceforge problem or a my machine is misconfigured problem? Can others connect to CVS?
Thanks, -thewade
Regarding the CVS, I might be stupid (it's quite likely), but I cannot for the life of me find the cvs help page. You know, the one that has the basic syntax for logon and such. Where is it?

Another question about CVS: do you all just use the terminal, or is there another app that is better for this sort of work?

most of us probably use the commandline, but theres GUI integration out there...TortoiseCVS/SVN for windows, SVN/CVS integration into konqueror (KDE) and presumably stuff for OSX (although havent checked lately. maye when intel pb's arive..)
