I can't speak for IOhannes, but sometimes when sending patches to friends who are musicians not programmers, it's nice to have something that works well on Miller's pd for which there is an easy installer with a good set of built in externals and no complications. This is preferable to teaching a windows user how to compile and install from fifteen different sources on the net, when they already have so much trouble just with outlook express and their usb midi hardware.
Best,
Chris.

Try the Pd-extended installer. No compilation necessary, and basically
of the code from CVS is included.
