hi joseph, hi all, talking about the gripd, is it possible to move the objects (eg. an image) during the non-edit-mode, maybe sending messages to it? marius.
Hi all
i am wondering if it is possible to use a Soundblaster audigy card with the 5.1 sound with pd we have one in the server for our CAVE and i am just trying to explore every avenue of immersive audio HAs anyone had any luck with one >> or have a commandline i might try?
./pd -audiooutdev 2 -outchannels 6 does not seem to work.
also has anyone had any luck with pd IRIX and vbap
i can only find an old tarball that does not seem to work even though it seems to compile fine on teh ONYX
cheers~

have a look at the new improved vbap at the sourceforge CVS repository CVS download instructions at: pure-data.sf.net There is even an irix binary in the repository (Alhough I think that we should not put binaries there, but until we have a compilation server it is ok).

Hello all,
Sorry if this is really OT. Been using Larry's iiwu object (the 0.1 version) in pd, but thought I'd try 'iiwusynth -M /dev/midi00 blah.sf2' from console, to iron out some bugs. I got:
Sound font file size mismatch error: Couldn't load soundfont file Failed to open the sounfont
I realise it's probably something really dumb, but I'd appreciate some help...the above works fine on a Debian i386 arch, but: Running Debian ppc 2.4.18, iiwusynth as a debian package iiwusynth_0.0.3-6_powerpc.deb I get error above.
Thoughts, anybody?

Looks like a endianess problem in iwuusynth ?
