Hello all,
My instructor at school is trying to make a patch that will graph a transfer function in real time, but it doesn't seem to be working out with Pd's built in arrays. I was thinking that he might be able to do it with Gem, but on second look I don't see any easy way to do this either. Does anyone know of a good way to graph an out audio signal against an in audio signal (one would be x, one y)?

i was using gem's scope functionality to plot some of systems of my chaos external ...
using a (scaled) phasor~ as x coordinate, it shouldn't be that hard to plot a function ...

Those apps are quite nice! The only problem is that they are much
bigger than my screen. Maybe the text at the bottom could go into a
subpatch? Then it would fit on 1024x768 screens (mine is PowerBook,
1280x865).
Also, do you mind if I import it into CVS and include it with the
Pd-extended builds? It would be a nice thing to have built-in to the
installers.

Well, the main screen (without the usage information) should fit onto 1024x768. So if you don't mind scrolling...
Anyway, an update is on my todo list and I will consider putting the text into a subpatch (as one of the really minor modifications...).
As everything I did on this is GPL you are free to include it wherever you want provided it does not interfere with the GPL. Perhaps you could just wait until the update release (expected 3-4 weeks from now)?
