Judging by posts in the last couple of days, I should be able to get the motu going with Pd 0.36 and port audio april version.
No inputs will shows in pd though. Only outputs.
Not so sure about the midi - has anyone used usb midiman box with Pd on OSX? I seem to remember reading that port audio midi on OSX is buggy.
I have had no problem with all the midi interface I have used so far (3), but finding the right port is a bit tricky.
Good Luck Alex
Great, Thanks for all the replies. I may end up running the video off my own x86 laptop with PDP/GEM, using netsend/netreceive to communicate between the two laptops. Good to hear that the OSX port can handle midi in and motu multi-out.
Regards,
Chris.

hi there!
when you have done the netsend/receive thing it would be great if you could give me some experiences concerning lagtime when controlling video with the audio input. Because i'm thinking of controlling multiple video clients over a network.
good luck! Fares

Hi, I won't be using audio input to control video. It will be a midi signal on the audio-machine that triggers the video on the other machine (or the same machine if i get that working). I'll just netsend the midi data to the video-controlling-machine as soon as it arrives at the audio-controlling-machine. ping times <= 5 ms expected.
Regards,
Chris.
