[regsub] can do string substitution based on regular expressions.
[regsub] is part of GridFlow.

here a solutions that needs only [symbol2list] from zexy and [list]. suddenly it is buggy in one case (see attached patch)

i added some of franks fabulous list-abs. should work now! just replace [pd list-splat -1] with [list-splat -1] and [pd list-l2s /] with [list-l2s /]
