Hi,
I think I remember having seen some discussion about porting the FFTease objects to pd on this list.
Did anybody work on it yet?

Hi Orm,
I think I remember having seen some discussion about porting the FFTease objects to pd on this list.
Did anybody work on it yet?
Well, not actually, but there is some temptation to do it.
That way (with Christian Klippels jMax code as a reference) i could also port flext to jMax, although i'm not too sure if there's a need for it....
greetings, Thomas

I did one (dentist~) using Christian's code, but got distracted. Someone should do it...

Hi, have a look at http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/pure-data/externals/grill/fft ease/
I received the permission by Eric Lyon to do the flext port. It will materialize gradually as i don't have much time at the moment, but it will.
As a proof of concept I quickly ported burrow~ (it's untested!) and set up a flext project for the object library. It's really simple as they are largely based on the pv-lib.
best greetings, Thomas

there is a very nice algoritmo hidden in there called "aphrodite" "aphrodite 'seduces' the data and one called 'fetish' as well

I have about 4 fftease objects working on linux, but I didn't do them all yet, and those I did aren't especially well tested but I could send you what I have so far.
greetings,

That would be great (I'll do the testing then ;-)
