hi,
i was wondering if anybody is writing music with PD and if so, what seuqencer they use, and how they perform live? if they do...
anyway, any comments would be great.

I'm writing some music to perform for an independent project at Macalester College. I've been using textfile + metro objects for sequencing and controlling Pd with a midi knob-box and a gamepad. This gives pretty good flexibility for live manipulation and improvisation on structure (switching between patterns, etc).

Hi,
I use PD as my sequenceer - mostly my own monorythm object and table's but am looking into xeq as well. Not performed live as yet but my way if working is very performance oriented,
cheers
