Hi list,
Is there a nqpoly4 [howto] somewhere?
I tried to adapt it to some of my previously made synthesis patches but it outputs lots of errors on creation. I think it must be because my synthesis abstractions don't provide the right parameter management (creation arguments, inlets/outlets) for nqpoly4.
If such a tutorial/howto doesn't exist, I guess I'll have to dig in nqpoly4 (not that I can't right now but I'd like to make a quick synth prototype), tune my abstractions and write a tutorial (-:

Yes, please do this. I think that polyphony management is fairly undocumented, so it would be a benefit if you wrote such a tutorial!

This is what I know of:
http://pix.test.at/pd/nqpoly/nqpoly4.html
plus the examples, plus some help files that are in CVS and Pd-extended.
A tutorial would be great, I can contribute at some point, but probably
not soon. [nqpoly4] is a great object, I've used it quite a bit. But
it can be maddening to get your head around. The key is to make sure
that your patches bangs the outlet when its does with its given task.
