Finally, I put together a newer Pd.app beta. Its based on the Pd.app
that Ben Bogart built for PixelTANGO since Miller and I haven't been
able to figure out the magic that he worked to get Pd to build properly
using Tcl/Tk 8.4.9. Tcl/Tk 8.4.9 brings lots of lovely improvements,
including Jamie's CoreGraphics updates.
Other notable addition: - GUI objects work again (unauthorized, [envgen], etc.) - [hid] and company are part of the build - [comport] serial port object - pmdp - help files were renamed to conform to the standard (NAME-help.pd)
Notable omissions:
- flext-based externals (the Pd.app build hasn't been updated for the
new flext building)
- pdp... its still quite hard to compile, but a solution seems near...
As always, there is lots left to do...

hi hans,
first thx for the good work. i m currently preparing for a workshop next week and noticed 2 things when i tried out your new installer:
when i open first the 1. manual in help
when the mouse is moved over the canvas - is this meant as a cpu safer feature ? can i switch this behaviour ?

I noticed that the preferences menu "unfolds" only if :
This problem has been consistent with all the pd.app versions.

Yeah, that's a known bug in the bug tracker.

I haven't seen this. Can you file a bug report in the bug tracker? As
usual, the more info, the better.
