Hi all, I've checked the text objects and examples in Pd and I was wondering if multiple lines of text are possible, preferably projected in a column, so being able to set limits that when crossed, the text would go one line down.
Thanks
Maybe I wasn't clear, sorry. I ment in Gem.

Gem will line-break the text whenever a carriage-return occurs.

Hm, using [text2d] and hitting return only creates a space between the words. For example, I'd like to get: Good morning everyone
Instead of: Good morning everyone

when you hit "return", you don't insert a line-break into your message (though it may first look like that). with Pd's syntax it's a bit awkward to construct symbols containing spaces or linebreaks and the like. try something like:
[13( | [makefilename %c] | [text Good morning$1everyone( | [text3d]

As Pd messages do not support carriage return, you need to convert your text to a string first. So, this should do the job:
[string 071 111 111 100 032 109 111 114 110 105 110 103 010 101 118 101 114 121 111 110 101( | [text3d]
cheers, marian
This seems to work. Thanks.
