hi yves and others,
I read:
grrr, ffmpeg is changing all the time.
I use some of the pidip objects quite a lot esp. pdp_rec~ but I don't use the ffmpeg stuff at all at the moment so I basically just remove it from the makefile and comment out the setup stuff.
Would you consider forking out the ffmpeg stuff into a seperate lib so people less comfortable with editing makefiles and source can take ad- vantage of your latest versions ?
regards,
x
hi,
actually, you're not really forced to recompile pidip as a pidip.pd_linux, statically linked to ffmeg is provided, so i shall not remove it.
there's always been this ambiguity here, the INSTALL instructions are only for those who have a non standard setup or feel like modifying something.
cheers,
sevy/yves
