The format (for all libraries) is:
-lib [path]\[dll name without extension]
So if you have
C:\pd\bin\vst.dll
You should put:
-lib c:\pd\bin\vst
The drive letter is optional
Cheers

Hi Mark, I am having problems with your vst~ object. I had it working a few months ago but since then I had to download the file again because it was accidently wiped off my machine However every time I try to load it I get problems? Pd complains about not being able to find the .dll even though I am sure I am giving the right path? this is the error I get,
\pd\pd\bin\vst.dll: couldn't load /pd/pd/bin/vst: can't load library
I have the .dll file in the pd/pd/bin folder on my machine so I know the path is right? I am confused as to why it is not working? Thanks in advance!

That's what I don't understand Mark, I don't put a .dll extension with the filename however PD stills says can't find "vst.dll"? Even though I don't put .dll after vst? I am sure that I am writing the command correctly. Has anyone else had similar problems?
