hi
Tried the test release.Works well, but ggext doesn't seem to be entirely compatible with it (e.g. 'ticker' does not work anymore).
mik
Yes, I realized this only today, and have changed the gui externals to be compatible with the new version
ftp'able at ftp://xdv.org/pub/gige/ggext/ggee-0.18.tar.gz
as always you have to compile them yourself with ./configure;make :) The release is not backward compatible, so it's only for the diehard.

Hi Guenter,
I did:
./configure
make
make ggext
"./configure" and "make" were fine. But I got the following error with
"make ggext":
ld -export_dynamic -shared -o -ggext.pd_linux ggee.o
*/*.o -lpthread -lm -lc ld cannot open */*.o: No such file or directory
*BESIDES* not purchasing nato objects, is there anything immediately
obvious that I am doing wrong? I got the same error with ggee-0.17.tar.gz
Thanks,
Michael

| I did: | | ./configure | make | make ggext
apparently you either 'make' xor 'make ggext' ...

You can choose between making single externals and making the ggext library.
If you try to do both, it won't work. e.g. ./configure make ggext
*or*
./configure make
if you want to change between the two you have to "make clean" inbetween.
... and again I doubt that my decision to split the externals was a good one, ...

Last month I think, Mark Dank's GEM was ported to MacOS for MaxMSP. Is there any new release since then? I would like to test it again.

Hi,
The last update was Sep.28.
http://www-inolab.sys.es.osaka-u.ac.jp/users/hirai/gem/index.html
I haven't touched the source code these days, because I don't have much time for it. But I'll make it to be stable in this year. Please try it and let me know any problem.
