Dear friends, thanks for the old comments and help, now... i am working with osculator and wii.... no problem with Gem... but the sound sucks!... only a frecuency... with osc~... the Gem process is more hard than audio... why the cpu use says 94%?... Thanks a lot

I forget... i use a OS X Leopard intel core 2 duo, 2 gb ram....my barbie ubuntu lap is very tiny.

Hi JOsé,
you could try separating the audio part and the Gem part and run them in two separate pd's ? (using netsend to let them communicate, run the Gem-pd instance with -nosound...) I'm not sure in your case, but that's what helped me out last time I had to do a Gem+audio thing.

I use Osculator/wiimote with a fairly heavily-loaded audio setup, and haven't had any problems working with it for over a year. I don't even see Osculator affecting the CPU display. This is on a 1st generation MacBookPro.

Sorry to follow myself up, but it occurred to me that perhaps in my setup, Osculator is running on the second processor, and that is the reason I'm not seeing it in my CPU-usage display (which displays the processor the audio engine is running on). I'll use 'top' to check Osculator's usage tonight when I get home.
