Hello, I've just installed ubuntu x86_64.
A problem is appearing when I am creating a gemwin:
error: GEM: Unable to create single buffer window error: GEM: Error creating const context error: GEM: A serious error occured creating const Context error: GEM: Continue at your own risk! error: GEM: Unable to create double buffer window error: GEM: Unable to create window error: GEM: gemwin: no window made
on console it says:
... libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x2b libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x2c libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x2d __driCreateNewScreen_20050727 - succeeded libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x22 libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x23 libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x24 ...
A few searches on google gives me a single information about this problem, it could come from:
xserver-xorg-video-tdfx package
This packege is not installed, I have this one installed:
xserver-xorg-driver-tdfx
I've done updates and tried several other drivers with no luck.
Thanks for any advice.
Patco.

Is there a way to access the actual names of the visuals?
I've found a command called "xvinfo" that you can run to get a list of visuals and other capabilities. I get all from 0x23 to 0x2a.
