the original poster of course means ReWire which lets different sound programs to interoperate on windows... sadly i dont know of a rewire object for pd yet. you can embed pd as a VST though... do a google or mailing list archive search for more info... -josh

no, because (as always..) you have to buy a license to use it. the question should be: is there something like jack for windows (with an unique output driver for all apps to use this "jack") .. that would be better, but such projects (perhaps something like: http://www.portaudio.com/ ?) don't exist as far as i know (at least on a productive level)

As you're asking Mac questions, there's Cycling'74's gratis Soundflower: http://www.synthesisters.com/download/Soundflower.sit
It's a virtual sound driver for "wiring" one program's output to another. Pd/MacOSX can use it with no problem.
