the library lives at the link below (along with the Xth Sense software repo). It includes over 100 objects, and only needs some more help-files to be completed, but for everything else it should be compatible with the guidelines. https://github.com/marcodsad/Xth-Sense-lib
"This collection of objects has been designed to be used within the Xth Sense framework. However most object can be used as general purpose tools for everyday patching needs. The taxonomy is inspired to the PdMtl library: objects are divided in categories, and each of these is defined by a prefix"
As I plan to release the Xth Sense system in April I would be glad if I was still in time to propose the inclusion of the lib.
Thanks,
everyone should always be on time, basically the files only has to be
"subverted" into the depository.
write to Hans-Christoph directly, and join the pd-dev list. He'll tell you
what needs to be done (or point you to the relevant page somewhere in
puredata.info).
With pd-ext 0.43 coming out some time soon, this is the right timing.

Sadly it's too late to include Xth Sense to Pd-ext, I already ask for the inclusion of PdMtl and Mtl Abstraction in the next Pd-ext (0.43).
Quoting Hans " ... I think its too late for 0.43, but 0.44 is definitely possible. With much less work, we can make it easy for people to find and install themselves, and that takes effect once you do it. Only one small thing has been added since November, so its in feature freeze.
make release tarballs, for example, you can just tag a release in git, ie "git tag v0.1", then github makes a link to a downloadable tarball.

Sees that git would be the way to go. Why not then? Would the migration mean huge workload for the "admins"?
I've happily switch from svn and other managers to git, and living happily with git on my server.

Thanks for posting that, Patrick. If you have never made a proper versioned release of your library, then its safe to say that its a long way from getting into Pd-extended. Here is the full process (which is what I do for the libraries I maintain in Pd-extended):
http://puredata.info/docs/developer/GettingIntoPdextended
<grump>It seems that "getting into Pd-extended" has come to mean "let Hans maintain it for me", and this is no longer a viable option.</grump> But it is now easy to distribute and install libraries, so if you make your library a libdir and post it to puredata.info/downloads, people will be able to easily find and install your libraries.

Hi Hans,
<grump>It seems that "getting into Pd-extended" has come to mean "let Hans maintain it for me", and this is no longer a viable option.</grump>
I totally understand that! I just wanted to tell Marco that it was too late for 0.43. I will surely recheck Pdmtl & Mtl for 0.44 - but last time I did, 1-2 years ago, it was working fine (no pool dependency).
Thanks, Ã +

Hey Patrick,
That grumpiness wasn't targeted at you, sorry if you thought so. For mtl, the next step is making a versioned release that's easy to install. Since you're using github now, I think it makes sense to follow the same advice I gave Marco:
http://puredata.info/docs/faq/how-do-i-install-externals-and-help-files
Then you can just make git tags and github will make the release tarballs for you. This is how the gridflow releases are structured and it seems to be working well.
If you want to make it into a Debian package, the easiest way is to use the Library Template, that means listing all of the objects in the Makefile in PDOBJECTS and making sure every object has a help patch.
