This may be related to the "route bang bug" issues but I'm not using any bangs, just floats lists and symbols.
Attached is a test patch, and for some reason the float "1" seems to get matched to the route argument "scale" which makes no sense to me.
Have I lost my mind?
Open the "parent" test patch to see what I mean.
I'm using the debian 0.38-4 sarge package.
What is the work around?

I *think* you are not allowed to mix numeric and symbolic arguments, the behavious may be undefined. I also *think* that there is a bug report open, that [route] shouldn't create, if you try to mix.
