one. The solution actually is quite simple:
not in my case, unfortunately. i cannot get the dv cam
to deliver any frames at all right now. sending
|device /dev/raw1394( to pix_video only gives
[pix_videoNEW]: device-err: 0 DV4L: closed
in the pd window and
initializing: Invalid argument
on the console.
dvgrab and kino are working fine.
since v4l input seems to be way less problematic, i'm thinking about looping /dev/raw1394 to a v4l device with vloopback - but you wrote that didn't work either. vloopback is also not maintained anymore, so this would probably be only a temporarily solution ...
