I read:
there is none... in fact, there are not any cyclone help patches in cvs, just the weird test patches (which is confusing, I know...)
and there is http://test.pilot.fm/pd/patches/help/ sustain is in there and I got a couple more than in the tarball on my local disk.

I'll even put them in the CVS if that is ok with all parties involved.
Is externals/miXed/doc ok?

hi,
I think this would be great... the best place for help patches is externals/miXed/doc/help/cyclone, patches not meant to be searched from the help popup fit into externals/miXed/doc/examples/cyclone

Ok, they are checked in. I also added the beginning of my tot-help.pd.
They look good, I've been wanting a [counter] help file for a long
time. But I'd like to make a suggestion. Instead of using [print], I
think its more user friendly to display the text in the same window.
There are two ways that I do this:
| [list2symbol] | [ \ <---- (symbolatom with a size of 0 so it auto-resizes)
or the preferred way:
| [prepend set] | [ ( <---- (blank message box)
Check the attached patch.

#N canvas 0 22 454 304 10; #X msg 79 245 this is only a test; #X obj 79 222 prepend set; #X obj 155 172 list2symbol; #X symbolatom 155 195 0 0 0 0 - - -; #X obj 166 112 prepend this; #X msg 79 39 is only a test; #X msg 200 62 works; #X connect 1 0 0 0; #X connect 2 0 3 0; #X connect 4 0 1 0; #X connect 4 0 2 0; #X connect 5 0 4 0; #X connect 6 0 4 0;
Yeah, [list2symbol] isnt' the best choice for this, but I was just
throwing it out there since its a more 'orthodox' way to display text,
i.e. using a symbol atom. I personally like the [prepend set]---[
( option best. Plus it serves as a little example of how to think
outside the box a little bit when patching. But [tosymbol] would work
fine as well.

hi hc, CK,
I get
list2symbol ... couldn't create
unless running pd -lib zexy, which I usually do not, so how about using cyclone's [tosymbol] in cyclone help patches, instead?
