Yes, well it would be quite nice to have an object that you could pass
an xml file to, and it would spit out pd symbols... I don't know how
exactly that would work since pd only supports lists - no tree-like
structures. Perhaps you could fill one of those new pd structs with the
contents of the xml file?
With PDContainer you could read it in map, vector, list, stack, ... (all
containers from the C++ STL) - see

I'm simply looking for a nice way to have some configuration files for
my system (which will be read by both pd and other software). I will
probably just stick with custom formatted text files for now. Though,
I'm sure people would appreciate the benefits of xml (ie, you could
easily validate it, and easily build other pd patches to save new
configurations).
