Hi all, I've finally managed to install gridflow ... hurray !!!!!!!!!!!!! I've done on Linux Ubuntu 9.04 and the latest official version of pd extended ... everything works fine, unfortunately I still can not do this in osx, hehehe, it is assumed that all there is easier, false, the problem is: when i did the path in ubuntu i could see the pd folder, but when i like path in osx i see a pd icon executable...gray...i cant select the pd folder...ridiculous, any idea???
Best regard dear list... i am happy, i am a new man... hehehehe

Do you mean that you accidentally put a pd file named "Pd" in place of your /Library/Pd folder ? and/or the file or folder belongs to the administrator persona and is read-protected ?

Hi Mathieu, problem solved...in mac osx i cant see the pd folder... only a executable... in the olds version of pd, pd entered a folder...now...i decided to do everything in text mode and terminal...works well... in linux too... but some patches dont work...crashes...like motion detect... the console of pd says: error to open... why?, other patchs with camera works....
Thanks Mathieu

"error: not open" is because the [#camera] is in closed mode, and so you need to click on it and then click on device 0 or similar. You can also do this with a "device 0" messagebox, or edit the object to become [#camera 0].
motion_detect.pd is an old patch that will probably be removed (merged into another example patch), but you have to do this [#camera] click in many (perhaps most ?) patches that use [#camera], because they don't say [#camera 0].

Thanks again Mathieu, as you say I could run the cameras, but osx is pixelated, probably an error or a problem with the graphics card in my mac intel gma the infamous ... I've been working hard with the gridflow and opencv and I greatly appreciate your work and support.
Best regards
José

GF's camera support on OSX is stuck at 320x240, so, currently, if you want more, you have to import from [pix_video] or use Linux, though I'd like it very much if someone would help us getting multiple resolutions right (and I don't mean just crop from a fixed-size resolution...) We don't have much OSX programming experience.
But I don't know what you mean by that problem, it's just that it made me think about the resolution problem. Do you want to come up with a (more) complete description of the problem (and perhaps some screenshots if it helps) ?
