Hello everyone,
This question is posted with humility (and shame)
I am using 32 bits GEM on Mac OS Sierra PD-extended with PAL definition for the pix_video object, all of this being more than 10 years old and working perfectly on a daily basis for producing marvelous things in real time.
Now I have to upgrade :)
Is GEM (pix_video / pix_data etc..) working nowadays in 64 bits on M1/M2 ARM Macs under recent Mac OS ? What version of PD ? Libraries to load ? Any kind of actual extended package replacing the most appreciated pd-extended somewhere ?
Sorry for this vintage question, and thanks for answers JM
Gem is very well maintained by Iohannes Zmoelnig. You have only to download the latest Pd vanilla (0.56-2), go to "find externals", and search for "gem". Almost all the other stuff that was in Pd extended is available the same way.
