Hello, I would like some precisions regarding the arguments of that object:
expressed ? I guess is not in db ? I tried to use -15 0 -15 0 to trigger a bang with a signal over -15db but it does not seem to work that way.
and the rest threshold can be trigger almost simultaneously ? (I am thinking in a case of picks of signal)
Thanks
Hi Alex,
Threshold~ can have a delay up to the sample blocksize (64), since "control" operations in Pd alternate with 64-sample DSP blocks. So threshold~ isn't an accurate way to detect peaks. (Mostly I use it to watch envelope follower outputs and/or the phase of a sampler to keep it from going out of range, etc., for which a 1-1/5 msec delay isn't likely to matter.)
I don't know, but I bet there are already peak and zero-crossing detector objects out there for Pd...
cheers Miller

- If the arguments 2 and 4 are set to 0 that means the bang threshold

- what are the right inlets used for then ?
Thanks
