Yes but as I said there is no package for ubuntu 11.10 that I'm aware. On the other hand the official package there are a lot of libraries for download in the official repository and I can almost remake the
pd-extended version. The only problem is that the packages do not configure pd automatically to load the libraries.
did you look in http://autobuild.puredata.info/auto-build/latest/? maybe
it's better you try it first.
Sorry, I always forget that. Still geting used to the new design of gmail. I downloaded my version from there. Only unstable versions...

I haven't tried in a while, but some versions are stable, others not.
maybe if you ask around, or to HC Steiner, someone will say which are the
stable versions.
if you find a stable version, keep it around until you get proof that the
