Hi all,
Here is a patch below, it's not acting as I expect and I suspect I don't use pix_mean as needed. My original image is 2048x1536. I hope the patch talks for itself. Btw, I am interested to know how to process the whole image at once (i.e. not square by square)

hello,
*) a [t b b] is missing after the loadbang. (the 4 is send to the / befor the 2048, so the size of the square is 0 *) the gemhead should be connected to pix_image, not to pix_crop *) i don't understand the use of pix_mean_color. maybe you want to use [pix_resize 1 1].
if you want to average the image on 64x48 blocs, you should consider the use of [pix_resize 64 48]
