Hello manuel knapp, There are some programs that will capture a from, but it takes a lot out of your system and the quality is quite poor. I recommend getting a hardware scan convertor, if your computer doesn't have a video out (s or composite). You could also buy a new video card, which would also enhance gem and while getting you a recordable video out. Maybe also try aiming a camera at the screen?
To just get a still image out of gem, you could press the print screen button.

and you could also use [pix_write];
[pix_write] is badly designed (i have to admit), and it only allows you to write stills to you harddisc (as tiff or jpeg); for longer sequences you might have serious problems with your speed of the harddisc (when using tiffs) vs. lack of quality (jpegs)
