is the [hid] external working on windows? i thought it was but i cannot find it anywhere. thanks

Not yet, hopefully July. (Windows is not my friend ;)
But Olaf Matthes' [hidin] is included in the latest Windows test
release. It works for getting data from joysticks, gamepads, etc.
But its only for Windows.
