hi,
i know i'm rehashing an old conversation here... but...
is anybody still working on making pd a VSTi or VST effect plugin? i remember at some point there was somebody who said he was working on this.. but then i never heard anything again.

thomas grill is working on that and there is a beta-version, which i use (on windows). but i think it is either a cvs-version or a pre-release. heave a look at http://www.parasitaere-kapazitaeten.net/ext/ for more information. marius.

thomas is working on the [vst~] plugin host, it sounds like matthew is asking about making pd itself able to be embedded into another vst host as a plugin (ie, so i could build my own effects in pd and use them from fruityloops or what have you.) .... i remember reading someting about some internal pd audio scheduler bits that had to be tweaked by miller before this could happen, but i dont have the mail list thread handy...

I´m also still very interested in that ... and if I understood it right, the question was using pd as a vstplugin, not as a host (which seems to be the intention of vst~).... sg
