hello list, i've been trying to figure out pd over the last few months. i'm excited about what i'll hopefully be able to do with it in a while, and enjoying the tutorials and building my own funny little synths or routing things. however, i find i lack the way of thinking to actually really get this to work. i'm working on a few patches for a theatre piece in may now, so i'm looking for either an introduction workshop in or around holland / northwest europe in april, or someone around amsterdam / utrecht to get together with a few times and learn some of the basics. anyone?
Here are a bunch of tutorial patches that aim to be part of intro
workshops.

It would be great to have some feedback on whether they are helpful
to the newbies. I'll be in Amsterdam staying at STEIM for two weeks
at the end of May. But a Pd stammtisch would be fun. Anyone other
Pders in Amsterdam or nearby want to get together?

I spent 33 years and four months in active military service and
during that period I spent most of my time as a high class muscle man

thanks for that! meanwhile, i found some hku (hilversum music tech) students who will help me out with the most urgent patches. i'll start studying the tutorials seriously in may. (btw the links you sent didn't work, but in your members, downloads section i found a intro_tutorial_2006-04-12.zip. pd stammtisch sounds good. the last two weeks of may also happen to be among the performance dates for the piece (check out www.demaan.com for details in dutch, or e-mail me off list for more info). what are you up to at steim?

I uploaded a new copy, hence the URL change. The current version is
in cvs, doc/tutorials/intro.
At STEIM I am doing a two week residency working on getting the [hid]
stuff working smoothly, and incorporating solid support for STEIM's
hardware, like the junxionbox.
