The Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) with about 2000 students offers a broad range of degree programmes and further education courses in education, design, film, art & media, dance, theatre, and music. The ZHdK was formed from a merger of the former School of Art and Design Zurich and the Zurich School of Music, Drama and Dance.
― The following position is open at the Institute for Computer Music and Sound Technology (ICST) at the Music Department, to be filled by June 1st, 2012 (or later upon individual agreement):
Research Associate (50% workload)
The main focus of your work will be in the domain of auditory perception and cognition. We seek a person with knowledge in in the field of experimental psychology and perceptual quality assessment, interested in the development and application of research methods related to artistic and musical processes. ― Candidates will have completed studies (preferably PhD), a musical or artistic background, and be willing to conceive and lead internally and externally funded research projects.
