Dear pd list,
I'm a novice of both pd and linux, I hope someone can help.
I'm running Red Hat 7.0 and pd 0.2.6. When I run wish I get a window so I guess tcl/tk works. When I run pd in a terminal window I get the following message and no further action:
usr/local/pd/bin/pd-gui: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/local/pd/bin/pd-gui: undefined symbol: Tk_Main
I'm sure it's simple, but so am I...
Thanks in advance, Ian Ian Stevenson audile@bigpond.com www.users.bigpond.com/audile
You need a recompiled version of PD to work with redhat 7 beacsue the tcl/tk stuff has been updated. You can do it yourself (which requires some minor changes of PD) or I have a binary at:

hey Ian...the only problem is that it needs to be recompiled to run on RH7. Karl MacMillan kindly hosts precompiled RH7 binaries @: http://mambo.peabody.jhu.edu/~karlmac/download/
