hi
i'm working on getting some microcontrollers to send strings to a serial port to get them into pd. the project will probably end up on linux eventually but at the moment i'm on osx. does anyone have any info or links on using a serial to usb adapter on osx (or linux) with pd? i haven't managed to find anything helpful regarding the comport or serial objects.
any help appreciated
rene.

Hallo, olsen hat gesagt: // olsen wrote:

And you don't necessarily need to use pyext for this, you can also just talk to the pyserial modules with netsend or OSC - depending on hiw tightly you want to integrate the serial port into Pd.
