Hi,
the lib refuses to load under OS X.4 and OS X.5 on a mactel machine.
It is for sure the i38 version. I get the error message
"mach-o, but wrong architecture"
of which I don't have a clue how I can improve the situation.
I do not believe that it is me, the lib at the same location runs
well on my ancient and very slo G4 book. Remains something that I
haven't seen yet.
Does anybody use the lib under OS X on an intelmac? Alternatively,
how does it run under Linux? I might just install Linux on my mactel
book...

If it says "mach-o, but wrong architecture", it's not loading the one
with the right architecture. Perhaps you have an old version in the
path too. Trying turning on "verbose" mode in the prefererences to
see which one is actually loading.
