hi can somone tell me what the -lttf library is that is needed for the Gem install
i am assuming it is a true type font library i installed freetype 2.0 thinking that this was it
can somone point me there? cheers Pat
Freetype should be the package that provides the ttf library. Take a look if you have something like
/usr/lib/libttf.so or /usr/local/lib/libttf.so
installation. Probably there are some development packages for libttf, or ,..

- if you don't have them, you have a problem with the freetype
installation. Probably there are some development packages for libttf, or ,..
- if you have them there could be a problem with the configure script
