Hi List !!!
Funny Funny and strange.....
I updated to Planet CCRMA Fedora and now so many things are gone ;-((((
I cant use memento anymore because hammer/cyclone are not included any more and i dont have a clue how to compile them ????
need to switch to debain i guess....to do it the easy way, right ??
So is it right that there are no rpms for Planet CCRMA ???
Is it also right that the cvs/mixed stuff is just for experienced hackers (no configure, no readme how to compile)
Well...............i am lost ;-(
Any help would be very much appreciatd

mmm... usually a few easy things are needed the makefile (provided) some pd header files (if your compilation breaks look at the requested missing file and copy it in your working sources folder)
basically a "make" is enough sometimes you may want to open the makefile and look if it needs a target platform, then you may need to type "make pd_linux" for example, the simply copy the my-brand-new-shiny-external.pd_linux to your external dir and edit your .pdrc
anyway, if you're lost at compiling just ask :)

The build-system includes a lot of the externals you will need. Just change into "/path/to/pd-cvs/externals/build/linux" and type "make". Add "/path/to/pd-cvs/externals/build/linux" to your pd-path.
This will give you most of the externals in one go.

hi luigi,
strange indeed... there are binaries on this page, though:
http://suita.chopin.edu.pl/~czaja/miXed/externs/cyclone.html
use these, instead of the debs (which were obsolete last time I checked).
